Welcome to the Blog of The 80s’ Baby!!

If you are reading this then that means that you have made at least two smart choices today. One, you visited this website, and two, you checked out my new blog. Now that you are done patting yourself on the back, I want to welcome you to the Blog of The 80s’ Baby. I created this website about a year ago for the purpose of my multi-media business I started in 2008 called, you guessed it, The 80s’ Baby Network. (For more general information about my business including how it all began and how to reach me, please proceed to the About and Contact page of this website. After you read this blog of course. )

In the beginning, I was pretty diligent about keeping my website updated on a daily bases with information about my business as well as posting various news stories, but as time went on I became bored with it and stop adding new posts. I wanted to find a way to make my blog challenging and slightly more personal. Thus I started this blog. I couldn’t decide on one thing to blog about so I am creating two entities of this one blog.

One will be something like an advice column (think Dear Abby, RIP) for media techs and junkies like myself, where I will be answering questions that are submitted to me via email. The Q&A will most likely be related to the media industry i.e. videography, products and services to buy & try, editing, filmmaking, etc, but won’t be uber technical. I may be young but believe me when I say I have managed to pick up tons of jewels about this crazy media industry while on my short journey that I cannot wait to share.

The second will be called “WeekIn Review”, where I share just that, my week in review. I tend to encounter some crazy adventures during the week when it comes to my business that my friends and I like to affectionately refer to as “Humble Beginnings” and “Ghetto Blessings” and such. It will also include goals for the coming week, links and photos to projects I completed and whatever else I feel compelled to share.

Alright so now that you have some idea of where this blog is going, check back every Monday & Friday for new posts and don’t forget to send me an email with your questions.

Yours truly,
The 80s’ Baby
